The Holidays Are Arriving!
Okay, so tomorrow is still September but it's only for one more day. Then... let the decorations come out! I have so many fond memories of Halloween, my Mom always made it so fun. I've tried to do the same for my family. I hope you all can experience the wonder of the make believe of your youth!

I LOVE your new background!!! That is way fun! I love the holidays. As you know my Mom has always made a big deal out of decorating for all the holidays. I definately don't decorate like she does but I'm sure to always decorate for at least Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! I know your kids have lots of memories of the holidays!

Gena, I love your new background! I would like to change mine but I've already mentioned that I have limited computer skills and I'm afraid to take the chance of messing everything up...but I love yours and will enjoy looking at it during the month of October. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (now that I don't have to dream up costumes for my children to wear), I really love all the harvest decorations on porches and in yards. This is just such a great time of year, cooler weather and the hope of even cooler weather!! Have fun with all your decorations, I hope you take some pictures and share them with us.
I have to say I am not a Halloween fan...never have been. I think it started the day I opened up my front door and there was a small child in a black cape with what looked like real blood ooozing out of his face and he whispered..."I am going to kill you". Seemed a little much for a fun holiday of candy gathering and carving pumpkins. Plus me and those clowns don't do so well..ya know?
