An idea spawned by creative minds came to fruition on the toenails of Allison Faria, but not without sacrifice. Her mother, in scouting out the perfect shades of polish, dropped a bottle of red and it exploded on impact. Poor Walgreen's! The large smear will remain until the "floor guys" come to buff off the old floor wax.
On a more serious note I do wish you all a wonderful Independence Day. I love our country so much and feel so blessed to live here. Many times I've had to fill in the blanks in our country's history to my children because the world doesn't acknowledge what a rare and precious gift our country truly is.

Love the cute toes Allison! Gena, I am so sorry about Walgreen's floor! They will never forget you over there now!
MARIANNE IS THE WINNER!!! Allison and Emily only got 3 out of 5 and are now irate with the educational system. And, Nancy, you are correct about #5. The poem was published in 1814 and was titled "Defense of Fort McHenry". Key was held prisoner on a ship in Chesapeake Bay and was witness to the battle. Love the song and the story behind it! Emily says, the third verse where it talks about "in God is our trust" is her favorite verse. Their choir teacher is great about teaching them those things.
Well I guess I got here to late! Darn it!!! I actually would have gotten them right too!
Well I hope you all had a Happy Fourth of July! We did! I love the Alli's toes too. I took my gift certificate from Mother's Day and shared it with Brilynn and the two of us went and got pedicures. We so enjoyed it and Brilynn's got some really cute toes too for Fourth of July. I didn't do Fourth of July toes but mine look nice too.
Well I love you all!!!
