For the FUN!!!
Playing cards... Golf, Pig Spit (or Hand and Foot to those outside the Ellsworth family), 3 to 13, we had a blast!
Does anyone else think they should NOT be posing for self portraits on a moving ATV they are driving?
I couldn't resist (hey, she started stacking the rollers, I just added to the stack).
For the FOOD!!!
Holy Guacamole, Batman! Even Charlie gained weight. Menu plan and shop accordingly? Done. Follow plan? Forget it, not as fun. Below is a lunch of leftovers from the night before. The leftovers were about 10 take out boxes STUFFED with Chinese food. Thanks, Richard and Sherri! It was also a great breakfast the next day.
For the FAMILY!!!
We were able to attend the wedding of our brother in law, Jay Black to Jewel Haws. It was wonderful to be there with them and to see all of Jay and Sharon's children all in the same room. Too bad all I had was Mom's camera and the BATTERY DIED!!!
Dean and Renda
Richard and Sherri
Steve and Gena
Jay and Jewel
And what's a trip without dirty laundry and souvenirs?
Uh, Richard, you left your peanut patties and beef jerky at Dean's. We'll keep it safe, for a time, in Arvada.
Coolest pest control ever! My Mommy bought me a cool bug zapper that poses as a racquetball racket. Push in the little button on the side, swing away at the bugs and Kapow! Zap! Sizzle! Ah, I love the smell of fried mosquitoes in the morning!
It was too much fun to try to convey in one blog post. I HAD A BLAST!

I am so sad I missed it! But, It would have been worse to miss my husband's graduation! Yikes!
We are such a predictable group! Why is it that in nearly every photo I have us together over the years we are sitting at a table consuming mass quantities or playing cards with the ever present M&M's and peanuts??? Oh, but what fun we have had! I wish I could cheat at cards like Dad and Tom but I'll just have to win the honest way!
Peanut patties? What the heck? You must explain! Is Richard eating himself into tooth decayed oblivion?
Your last few photos have been stunning! I am loving the new hair AND the lighter, leaner of you! Your cheek bones are so gorgeous and you are looking very, well, you know!
You got a bug zapper? Now I AM jealous! Use it well my dear!
This looks like a very fun, festive weekend and to top it all off...a bug zapper!! What more could a person ask for???? I tell you...those Ellsworths really know how to party!! I'm happy you got to be part of all the festivities, you are becoming a regular traveling fool! Keep up the good work!
I totally agree with Aunt Marianne you look absolutely beautiful! I love your hair and look so YOUNG. Please oh please do share the secret with me!
I'm so glad that you all had such a great time together. I wish we could see all of you and join in on all the fun.
I'm so JEALOUS of your bug zapper. You wouldn't believe all of the darn awful mosquitoes that we have here. I seriously killed, no lie, 6 mosiquitoes in my kitchen tonight while making dinner! Brian and Brilynn must be extra sweet because the two of them have like a zillion mosiquitoe bites. Blake and I have a few but Conner, hmmm... not sure about the kid, those things literally die on him and he doesn't have a single mark. Isn't that weird? Anyway, I hope you enjoy that bug zapper!
We love you!
JoLynn
P.S. I meant to say...Ali and Em look fabulous in their windblown action shot! Seriously! It takes real talent to take a photo and drive at the same time! Um...we shall just assume that since Emily is driving that Allison had the camera...please!
Hey I recognize that food, that looks like the food from my favorite chinese restaurant in bloomfield Panda Garden YUM YUM
Sorry Im just getting to your post so late! It looked like so much fun. That's just how we roll... cards, food, some swear words, and alot of laughter! Your looking HOT these day's Aunt Gena! Love to you and the family!!

Family times are the best--the best therapy ever! I am also impressed by the girls' mad SP skills.
