SUCCESS!! I know my mother too well! I hacked into her blog! (This is Emily, by the way)
Mom doesn't know I'm doing this. She's still in bed waiting for dad to bring her her belgian waffles. In fact she doesn't even know that I'm awake right now.
In case you couldn't tell by the title it is Gena's birthday! She's the queen of the house today! Sadly I wasn't able to get today off of work like Alli did so they'll just have to party without me but we'll be opening presents later tonight.
My mom is the kindest, most thoughtful, random, funny, annoying, beautiful, smartest person I know. I hate watching Jeopardy with her because she'll always be able to answer before me! She is a patient mother of two boys and twin girls and now the mother-in-law of two awesome women! She's always the instigator of mischief (for example: putting glow sticks in the outhouse at girl's camp). I won't tell you how old she is today, you'll have to ask her yourself! But if you know how old Helen is, mom is just exactly 40 years younger! She has always been there for me and I'm so grateful for all the support that I've recieved from her this last year and a half that I haven't been able to go to school. I'd just like to say Happy Birthday mom! I love you!!

After having looked at facebook for the first time in about a week I was debating on how to get back onto my blog and even say anything! Life has run away with me... and so has my blog it would seem.
Thank you Emily for your sweet comments, and for all the other things you could have said but didn't (I owe you a little for that one).
PS. Yes, I'm going to change my password and do it without you standing behind me reading what I'm typing. GO AWAY!!
Announcement: Further proof of my lack of where with all has just surfaced... Steve was logged in to google and so I just commented as my husband. Changing password now. And thank you, Emily, for justifying your hijacking by saying you just wanted to let my blogging friends know how wonderful I am. And for choosing such a flattering picture (bleh!)
Emily!! You are the best! What a fun surprise for your Mom! She is indeed generous, thoughtful, talented, random, and sometimes gross! That's why I love her so much! She has Peter Pan syndrome which makes it fun for everyone around her.

P.S. I just turned 54 (grumble) and Mom was 35 when I was born...it's a math equation...get it?
I got it!!!! Gena you are 9 years 10 months and 13 days older than I am. I think I did the math right on that but then again I've never been good at math so I could be wrong. Anyway...Happy Happy Birthday!!!! I want Gena to know how very much I love her! She has always been so much fun. I hope your day was as wonderful as you are!
